Depending on how bad your old one has been slipping you may or may not have cracks in the flywheel. With that being said, this clutch can hold a decent amount of power but if you're really throwing down more than 300 to the wheels it may be wise to upgrade to a stage 2 or higher clutch. WebMay 2, 2024 · #1 A few weeks ago my stock clutch came apart on a high rpm shift. I was a little surprised being the car has only 22000 miles and hasn't really been abused. When I dropped the transmission it was easy to tell what the problem was. In my opinion the clutch could of had a better design. I don't think the single row of rivets helps out at all.
