WebbXMP 3600mhz but still running on 2133. I recently just bought myself some Corsair Vengeance 16GB (8x2) 3600mhz ram. After installing I went directly to the bios and set the Ryzen XMP 2.0 Profile 1 and set it to 3600mhz. However, when checking with CPU-Z it still says im running 1061mhz per stick.

Webb1) Try overclocking current sticks to 3600 from BIOS. You can increase voltage to 1.375V if needed, but some memory stick actually don't like voltage and clock better with less voltage. 2) If you just want to buy new sticks and don't know what to buy, get 2x32 Gb at what speed you want. I tried to run a benchmark program which said the following: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600 C18 2x8GB. 3,599 User benchmarks, average bench 87%. 2 of 4 slots used. 16GB DIMM DDR4 2133 MHz clocked @ 1067 MHz. When you load/activate XMP, the BIOS applies the values of the XMP profile, i.e. frequency, timings, voltage and perhaps sub-timings, in your case DDR4-3200 with a voltage of 1.35 Volts. WebbI tried reseating the ram. I made sure it was in the correct slots. I tried removing the CMOS battery (many times), because doing so would allow me to reach bios, where I tried setting the ram at various speeds. I tried setting it at the recommended XMP setting, I tried setting it to 3600, I tried even running it at the default 2133. Webb8 aug. 2024 · Hi Guys, Wondering if someone can help.
